At the Southwest Washington Central Labor Council's June 4th, 2025 meeting Delegates to the CLC voted to endorse Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle for reelection.

"Mayor Anne has more than earned our endorsement through years of dedicated service to the people of Vancouver, including us all," said SWWACLC Secretary Treasurer Kevin Lux. "She is everywhere all the time, tirelessly, and that includes attending nearly all of our monthly meetings to give her report and field questions. As a retired public school teacher, you bet she's good at giving reports and answering questions!"

Lux continued by saying, "She has rallied with nurses, baked pies for Firefighters, helped advance apprenticeship utilization standards at the City, kept us informed about openings on Boards and Commissions, and continues to represent all of SW WA well in the work to get funding for the I-5 Bridge Replacement we so desperately need."

Lux concluded by saying, "We were honored to select her as the winner of the '2024 Labor Ally of the Year' award, a testament to her work for working people. We full-heartedly endorse and encourage you to vote to re-elect Mayor Anne!"
