Like educators in many school districts around the country, members of the Vancouver Education Association are wearing red on Wednesdays as a part of the #RedForEd campaign.

The VEA is taking things a step further, though, with its #TradesTuesday campaign. Each Tuesday educators are wearing t-shirts provided by area Labor unions in an effort to show solidarity with their union siblings, and to  promote union trades as a post-high school career option for students.
