The Southwest Washington Central Labor Council has a process for evaluating candidates for office (to find out more about our process and how our Labor Council determines who to endorse, listen to Episode 30 of our podcast Working To Live In Southwest Washington.) Part of that process includes asking candidates for office to fill out a questionnaire.

Rey Reynolds did not complete the questionnaire we sent him, but when he showed up to our Candidate interviews we still allowed him to participate. We were very concerned about some of his answers to the Commitee's questions regarding houseless individuals, women, the I-5 Bridge replacement, and our neighbors in Portland.

As a Labor Council we have deep concerns about Mr. Reynolds holding any public office in Southwest Washington, particularly one with so much influence on the good, welfare, and security of working class families in our community.

We urge you NOT to vote for Rey Reynolds.
