Each spring some 3,000 kids, their families and their friends gather at Salmon Creek Park/Klineline Pond in Vancouver, WA for the The Klineline Kids Fishing Derby, the largest event of its kind in the state of Washington. 

The Southwest Washington Central Labor Council and several of its affiliates are proud supporters of this event that helps children experience fishing, playing outside, and learning about our natural environment and water safety. We hope you and your family will take part!

Click here to register for the event on April 12th and 13th (please note the event on April 12th is limited to  special needs persons ages 5 and up.) Each registered child will receive a fishing rod & reel complete with terminal gear, and an event tee-shirt. Bait is provided.

Kids are encouraged to visit and experience the many other hands-on activities and exhibits in the park, including an archery range and educational kiosks. Prizes are awarded by random drawing.
